miss thing (b. 1999) is a transdisciplinary drag artist & model based in philadelphia, pa. his/their/her work explores camp irreverence and the inextricable relation of the body/self to the art of drag. they dichotomize concepts of conventional glamour & fashion with the taboo, horror imagery, & ugliness. this manifests as full-body transformations, costume & character design & creation, makeup artistry, live performance, collaborative photography & videography, gallery & public installation, in addition to their work styling and assisting on photo & film shoots, and live events.miss thing has been successfully commissioned to create and contribute art for high-profile clients including contestants from renowned TV shows ("RuPaul's Drag Race", "The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula"), acclaimed filmmaker M.
